Bacon and Sausage Jerky? July 9, 2012

I had a tasty dream last night. I dreamed that I put bacon in a food dryer as if I was making jerky. I also cut some link sausages length wise and dried those for jerky. I wonder if that would work? Would they be too fatty/greasy? Mmmm, maybe I could try some of the maple flavored sausage. P:
